Hello World!
At my church we have a food bank that has a clothing ministry attached to it. They receive free donations, and then will sort through the containers setting out clothes for each season. It is free for the community but recently our church has opened it up once a month for church members to go in and browse around. I always seem to be able to walk out with a stuffed bag full of clothes which has been such an amazing and huge blessing to my rather small clothing budget. My mom chuckles that I'm able to find so much as a lot of the clothes are pretty dated, ( read cloth overalls with giraffes on the front pocket. Yep they were as bad as they sound. They were tossed into the no pile. ) I think she partly laughs though because I have started to dress like how she used to when she was growing up.
Striped Striped Shirt - Old Navy
Mom Jean Shorts - Gloria Vanderbelt
Tan Blouse - Karle
Disco V-Neck - Cinema
Pastel Pink V-Neck - Karen Scott
Jean Jumper - Nina Piccalino
Some of the clothing items I pick up, I decide to get a little creative with.
For instance this dress was longer, and there was a big section at the bottom made out of the same floral fabric as the top and edged with wooden pineapple buttons.
To say the least it needed a little chopping and hemming and I was good to go!
Jean jumpers have become such a staple in my wardrobe!
The White Checked Jumper is super! I love it!
